Land at JFK
Red-eye out of Los Angeles.
Landed at 8am with a full day ahead and nowhere to put it down yet.
Then straight to the shuttle
Red-eye from LAX. Landed at JFK at 8am. A desk on Park Avenue until the afternoon, changed clothes, and walked to iHeartMedia for the first New York edition of Hollywood & Mind. Then back to JFK and on to SF Tech Week the next morning.

Booked in the Uber app. The fare shows before you confirm.
Cheaper than a solo car and it goes where you need to go. I took it both ways, in and back out.
Then on to the desk
E and M trains at 5th Ave/53 St are a 4 minute walk. Buses stop at Madison Ave and E 54 St, 3 minutes.
An All Access membership books one desk a day at hundreds of WeWork locations, so a travel day still gets real work done. Pantry, lounges and phone booths are included. Meeting rooms are a separate booking. I worked for hours, then changed for the evening right there.
Leave in time for 3:15 check-in
From 430 Park Ave: about 15 minutes on foot, west along 56th. There was construction at the building, so enter at 120 W 56th.
Check-in at 3:15 and programming at 3:45 sharp. The entertainment industry’s collective for mental health and wellbeing, in one room at iHeartMedia. Business casual, with your own flair encouraged.
Program runs into the evening
Same shuttle, the other direction.
Out of New York the same night, so I could be in San Francisco for Tech Week the next morning.
